Monday's class

My favorite place

It was my second opportunity to give a class.  In this time, i gave the second hour of the class.
To be honest,  i had the planning draft since monday but i hadnt thr opportunity to share the daft.
When my class began, i was confident and i kept in mind that whatever that  would happen. I would to relax and not to frustrate.
Warm up. I didnt have
Presentation. I gave some envelopes to the students but i asked to wait for my instructions.  Then, i modeled what they had to do. In which students would open the envelope and take the picture/letters that were inside.  They would work in pairs and paste the picture with the word-formed.  Some of them had two words because were 6 pairs and 9 words.  Most of then got the correct word.  But one pair had pasted the word "butterfly" incorrect. There i had the opportunity to check the words and say how they write.

Explanation. Here i started to explain with the plural pasting some pictures and asked to the students to write on the board the plural of each one. At the end i checked and aked for the pronunciation.  O gave the rules of plural of "s", "es" and "ies". I had to admit that i need to organize the board cause i had not enough space to write.
Practice.  I had printed some practices 1 . order the word (they will se girlora--> gloria I gave the instructions and asked to do it,  then they shared ideas and at the end i asked for the answers. 2. Students will write the singular or plural according of the verb are or is. Then, they stand up and share answers at the end they gave the answers.
PRODUCTION. at this point i asked to stand up and i divided the class into groups.  Each one will have to look a picture on the wall and each student will wrong with his/her leader and say what they saw. Example: lakes, river, monkeys and so on. If i had the opportunity to do it again i will ask one by one to write what they see.  Also i will ask to shout up. Cause i did at the end but some of them were yelling.
WRAP UP.  I asked to stand up.  Pass a ball and take a color paper the last one who had the ball.  They said 5 animals, 3 places, 3plural animals

ACTIONS

ACTIONS Vocabulary:  Run, climb, eat, fly…so on Grammar:   It was the third class of the last period. I was impressed because until now I realized that we had changed, I mean we are not the same students that started the semester. We are focusing in being good teachers and how to keep the attention of our students in us. The class started with Raul which got my attention because he demonstrated that he is a good teacher. He started with a warm up in which he sang the “Hello” song· He asked SS to do different movements according what he was doing. For example, when he said “happy” they had to jump in order to demonstrate how happy they were. I loved the way that he did it because he did it many times in order to internalize the new hello version song.  Also he did clear instructions. After the warm up. Raul asked them to pick up their own names and show the picture that was inside. For example, Imelda`s name has a grandmother. Everybody participated and they w
