Teaching the Time

TELLING THE TIME

Teaching the time!! That is a nice time to teach and learn how to explain the hour. In order to encounter and to practice the time.

You can use  flashcards. You can ask what time they think it is. Once, you have given the vocabulary you can draw a clock and ask Ss what time is it,

Warm up: T can ask Ss to label the picture with the phrase "It is ... o'clock"

Practice: Ss can ask to his/her partner "what time is it?" and partner and answer acording to the picture,

Also, you can use PPP: http://www.slideshare.net/Marta_Ojero/what-time-is-it-game

ACTIONS

ACTIONS Vocabulary:  Run, climb, eat, fly…so on Grammar:   It was the third class of the last period. I was impressed because until now I realized that we had changed, I mean we are not the same students that started the semester. We are focusing in being good teachers and how to keep the attention of our students in us. The class started with Raul which got my attention because he demonstrated that he is a good teacher. I loved the way that he did it because he did it many times in order to internalize the new hello version song.  Also he did clear instructions. After the warm up. Raul asked them to pick up their own names and show the picture that was inside. For example, Imelda`s name has a grandmother. Everybody participa...

CARS

TYPES OF CARS Hatchback Hatchbacks feature a rear door, swinging upwards and providing convenient access to cargo space. Three and five-door options are available. The size of hatchback cars may vary form tiny city cars to large liftbacks. In most cases hatchbacks are powered by economical engines, but hot hatches are also available. This type of cars is most popular in Europe, where the parking space is extremely limited, and fuel prices are very high. Also, hatchbacks are very practical as the second row seats can be folded down, creating a solid cargo space with convenient access through the rear door.  Volkswagen  Golf,  Ford  Focus and Mini are the examples of this car type. Sedan Sedan is a type of car body that features three-box layout, with separate engine compartment, passenger cabin and cargo trunk. Sedans are purposed for people transportation and are not particularly suited for cargo carriage as their trunks typically feature a narrow ope...
