The main behavioral and cognitive differences between boys and girls
In this time I am going to
define some cognitive differences between boys and girls, but we have not to
forget that hobbies, interests or preferences are not linked to roles placed by
a country or age. As everybody knows, there are some role in the society that
is assumed by different genders just as boys and girl.
Gender: characteristics of people as males and females.
Gender Roles: expectations that prescribe how females or males should think, act and
feel (how they “should be or their behavior should be in the society”).
First, I want to clarify
that when a newborn demonstrate with gestures that he/she likes is not related
with the gender because at that time they demonstrate their different
preferences according to their environment or they have been exposed during the
mother's pregnancy.

- Most of the time, boys look for a sport in which try can play
hard. Guys usually seek games containing roughly skills and can demonstrate
their ability or quickness (physically aggressive).
- Boys try to related their games with fights; they do not matter
about the role in the society. They try to demonstrate how they are going to
solve a problem with zombies, killers… etc.
-Boys try to show strength or toughness at times and usually involves
the demonstration of emotions (sadness)
- Boys will seek the pattern or example of strength or dominating the
place (alpha male).

Girls since the beginning they know that they can play with boys, but they
avoid confrontation games involving melee in which they can get hurt (hit)
-Girls try to concentrate their games in “real problems” or “roles.”
For example, when a girl is playing with dolls, they try to generate and
solve problems (most of the time, her doll is having problems with her
boyfriend or her friends).
-Girls begin to follow the pattern of that role of
"princess" who is sweet, funny and friendly towards others.
- Girls want to start to fit into society or be seen by other people.

To end this topic, I want to remind you that these cognitive and
preferences are according of their environment. For example, if a girl grows up
in an environment where she has to take care of herself or because most of the
time no one is with her, She will demonstrate preferences of strength, do not demonstrate
weakness emotions. In which to play with dolls or very feminine games involve
being a little more sensitive or "weaker" than the other gender.
