CASE OF STUDY

CASE OF STUDY

Guys! this is my video about the development of toddler, media and early childhool.
It is important because you can get a idea of changes that our studentd will have and to know if their behavior  acording at their age

Well, i had the opportunity to have a real contact with children of 3 to 8 years old.
My experience was spectacular because most of them do not feel shy about talking with someone. At the first time you can see Sofia, she is one year old, at that age child can understand short sentences such as "sit down, dance, say hello….. Etc;" even though, some children can understand longer sentences. Children can respond with gestures (with hands movements, face movements, taking objects with their hands).

Then, you can see some children that are 3 to 5 years old. They are from Escuela Francisco A. Gamboa. As normal Salvadorian children they have an adequate height and weight. They are developing their fine motor and gross motor without any problems (they can sweep, clean, move pages from books, coloring and select their favorite colors). Also they assume their roll in the society such as boy and girl, they have a general knowledge of the difference between boys and girls and they recognize the part of the body.

At the end, you can see 8-to-9-year-old-child. They have and choose their relationships and have a better development of their role in society. They can follow instructions (teacher’s instructions) and play instructions; they can demonstrate how much attention they pay and how they abide orders without any problem. Also they have a great handling of movements, for example when walking and running they make coordination games requiring eye, foot, hand or eyes.

ACTIONS Vocabulary:  Run, climb, eat, fly…so on Grammar:   It was the third class of the last period. I was impressed because until now I realized that we had changed, I mean we are not the same students that started the semester. We are focusing in being good teachers and how to keep the attention of our students in us. The class started with Raul which got my attention because he demonstrated that he is a good teacher. He started with a warm up in which he sang the “Hello” song· He asked SS to do different movements according what he was doing. For example, when he said “happy” they had to jump in order to demonstrate how happy they were. I loved the way that he did it because he did it many times in order to internalize the new hello version song.  Also he did clear instructions. After the warm up. Raul asked them to pick up their own names and show the picture that was inside. For example, Imelda`s name has a grandmother. Everybody participated and they w
