THIRD CLASS

Topic: My family.
Vocabulary: Father, mother, sister, brother, grandfather, grandmother.
Grammar: Who’s this? It’s. Is that your…. Yes, it is. No it’s not.

I had not the opportunity to be in his class but my classmates helped me with the information.

They did a PLANING

The students practiced the song “how are you today?” that they practiced one class before in which kids remembered most of the lyrics of the song and were able to follow the teachers’ gestures for the song.
After this, teacher did a review with vocabulary that they had learned and students were introduced to the new topic was “My Family”(With this topic the really knew the vocabulary,I think that nowadays is easy to call mom and dad in english or some family members).
In the second part of the class, teacher Ingrid worked on tasks to practice what had already  been presented (matching, getting in groups, reviewing what they had done among other activities were developed).

In one activity students had to make their own father, mother, brothers and sisters in some sticks that they were given and caps, mustache, ties, hair, etc to paste on them. At the end of this class most of students could be able to design the members of their families.
To finish with the class, the kids sang the good bye song that was also taught the last class.

For example, when he said “happy” they had to jump in order to demonstrate how happy they were. I loved the way that he did it because he did it many times in order to internalize the new hello version song.  Also he did clear instructions. After the warm up. Raul asked them to pick up their own names and show the picture that was inside. For example, Imelda`s name has a grandmother. Everybody participated and they w
